[We begin the scene with a young adult man looking through his updates.]

M2 Terra 618 Lance Adam Darrell and Markus William Kepler:

💭 So, another test today? Those always have me at the edge of my seat. 💭

*Is seen moving around the headquarters on his hoverboard.*

*Soon sees him.*

💭 Markus William Kepler. A new member around here. I heard his parents got him to join us? 💭

💭 Speaking of parenting, I had given birth recently. Being a new father is anything but easy. 💭

💭 It's also difficult juggling these two jobs, which I'm trying to find a rhythm with. 💭

*Gets up.*

Hey, Markus!

Huh? What is it, Lance?

Another technology test is happening today. I'm letting you know in case it interests you.

You bet I'm interested! I love technology! That's part of why I joined this organization!

Heh. You're an eager one.

Yep! The main reason is obviously to explore the multiverse. It's really cool that it exists!

I agree. However, you may want to start using "a" instead of "the" from here on out.

Why?

This multiverse is not the only one.

Wait, what?! Are you serious?!

I am. To say that I was also extremely surprised would be an astronomical understatement.

How does different multiverses existing even work?! Why wasn't the knowledge shared around yet?

The answer that I've gotten was the organization wanting to be efficient in what they disclose.

They're using how travelers handled our multiverse's existence long ago as a reference point.

To them, two connected universes were groundbreaking, and they also wanted to have more info.

After fully discovering our multiverse, they then shared the information out, showing it's infinite later.

How alternate multiverses can exist with each other is if they are shown as functionally different.

The possibility that there may be more than two of those is giving me a lot of goosebumps.

Right?!? That's insane!! What allowed that discovery to be possible in the first place?!

This organization found a rift in our multiverse that transported them into another one.

Can you show me where that is, please?! I'm finding this really hard to believe.

Certainly! I didn't believe it at first either.

*Opens a portal inside his ship.*

*Follows.*

[We switch the scene to within this multiverse.]

*His ship is seen emerging out a different, much larger portal.*

It should be around here somewhere if I'm not mistaken...

*Pilots his ship, trying to find the rift. He soon succeeds.*

Ah, there it is.

*Points to it.*

See that?

I do!! What?!

There's a whole new multiverse just on the other side. One where universes are instead cubes.

Can we get a closer loo- Hang on, is it possible to even return back?

It is, don't worry. We were lucky this rift is a two-way tunnel.

Oh, thank goodness! Thought I'd accidentally trap us by wanting a closer look!

It's really good you practiced caution there.

Yeah, phew! Close call!

*Gets an update that the test is about to begin at already visited coordinates.*

Do you want to look at that new multiverse, or no?

Nah, I think I'm good.

Are you sure?

Well... Okay. I changed my mind.

Alright, then. Let's pay this place a brief visit!

*Pilots his ship inside the rift.*

[If you wish to see their exploration, then please see Multiverse 2A Volume 1.]

*His ship returns out. Afterwards, he puts in specified coordinates, which is where the test is located.*

So, do you think the test will be a success?

I don't know.

Hm. Also, after what I've seen, I wonder if there's a multiverse with sphere universes?

We'll have to see about that.

[We change the scene to another region in this multiverse.]

*He soon sees other ships out here, spectators and testers alike. He looks in amazement.*

*Sees them as well.*

Good, we're not late. Being on time has always been my preference.

*Looks out the front window, carrying his hoverboard beneath his arm.*

I don't know what to expect at this moment.

Me neither. Anything can happen at this point.

[Soon enough, with the preparations set up, a countless number of gigantic lasers are all fired at a singular spot.]

[This attempt to replicate an inter-multiversal rift places all spectators at the edge of their seats.]

💭 Are they going to pull it off this time?!? 💭

💭 Holy! That's an enormous lightshow! Will this work?!? 💭

[Over time, this multiverse fabric begins to crack. As the tear grows, so does the energy output of every laser, each reaching a max safe limit.]

[Eventually, something new begins to happen. This multiverse begins to shake, as if it's being affected. Our observers realize this development.]

💭 I've never felt this kind of shockwave in the tests I spectated prior! They're not going to cause destruction on accident, are they? 💭

💭 Whoa! I sure hope those guys know what they're doing! This could get very bad if handled incorrectly! 💭

[The crack then starts to glow a bright white light, which changes to a light blue. Suddenly, messages start going off, repeating the following words:]

{"Multiverse contact established! Multiverse contact established! Spherical universes detected! Spherical universes detected!"}

There's no way this is actually happening!

SPHERICAL?!? HOW DID I PREDICT THAT?!?

Wait... you did! What are the odds?!

I DON'T KNOW!! This is nuts!

I know how exciting this is, but let's keep it quiet, okay?

I mean- How can I?! This is the discovery of two separate multiverses right here!

[Soon after, a new message starts repeating. It loops the following:]

{"Multiverse link complete! Multiverse link complete! Turn lasers off! Turn lasers off!"}

[Following the command, the lasers start turning off. Once every single one of them is no longer on, spectators head inside the rift.]

This is AMAZING! I want to see this!

*Joins the other spectators into this new multiverse.*

[We change the scene to the sea of infinite spherical universes.]

Whoa...

This is going to be new horizons for us!

Definitely!

*Takes pictures. As he does so, his ship detects portal usage in this multiverse.*

Huh?

*Looks at the readings in further detail, seeing where this trace of traveler technology originated and went.*

What was it?

My ship has picked up a specific kind of signature. This kind of reading is only possible if there's multiverse explorers going around.

Are you saying we've detected travelers from this multiverse already?!

Potentially, yes.

Wow!!!

Don't get too excited. We need to fully confirm what we're dealing with here. I likely wasn't the only one who noticed.

On the case it is actual people, I would love to make new friends here in this multiverse!

We'll just have to see about that.

*Steers toward this multiverse's Universe One alongside other ships that also detected travelers.*
